The children took part in workshops where they dressed up in traditional clothes that would have been worn by the men and women. They modelled the outfits beautifully!
They wrote into wax the way the Romans would have, imaging what it would be like to do their Literacy lessons in this way and write a whole cold write. They weren't very happy about this idea!
We also examined Roman objects and what they might have been used for.
We then walked all around the Roman Baths museum and imagined ourselves living the way the Romans used to, and learnt all about what the Roman Baths were used for. We were even able to talk to a real life Roman woman who kindly let the children ask her lots of questions about her life.
Take a look at some of the pictures of the day.
