Safer Internet Day - 2017

10 February 2017

On Tuesday 7th February 2017, Year 4 took part in Safer Internet Day: an e-safety event that happens all around the world.

The children were really reflective this week during safer internet day. They were presented with several images and had to describe their first impression of what was happening in the picture. They then explored how images can be edited and the false impression this gives. It was really interesting listening to their discussions about the different images as they decided whether they were real or whether they had been faked. They then watched a video where only part of an image was displayed and saw the impact this had on their impression of what was happening in the picture as more and more of it was revealed. Thank you Mr Schooner for organising it for us!
