Gruffalo class have settled well into year 1. We have been talking about what makes a community and how we can welcome people to the communities we belong to.
We made our faces using felt. We hope our smiley faces will make you feel welcome!
Elmer class have enjoyed their first two weeks of KS1!
We have been learning about the importance of being welcoming and how we welcome each other. We have learnt what a community is and what a community does to look after each other. We have also been learning about diversity and why it is an important strength to have.
We thought we would create ourselves for our display. Each child made their clothes differently to celebrate diversity. We also decided that the people on the display should hold hands so that they are a welcoming community.
