Tower Making Competition

11 September 2016

The children had the challenge of creating the tallest
strongest tower that could stay standing against the “Hairdryer of DOOM” on
Friday morning.

All six teams worked hard against the clock with the
resources they had. They were only allowed to use scissors, sugar paper, ten
paper clips, and masking tape, and it had to be able to stand up by itself.

They were then marked out of 20 on the strength of the
tower, how tall it was, and how well they had worked as a team.

Each tower was tested to see if it could stand up against
ten seconds of the Hairdryer of DOOM and the winning team was team Brunel!

Congratulations!
