This term, Year 5 were learning about irreversible changes in some of their Science lessons. They found out that when cooking, most changes are irreversible such as baking.
Later on in the term, they explored homelessness in philosophy / enquiry lessons learning all about charity and how we can help the less fortunate. They decided to make some cup cakes and give them to a group of volunteers to hand out to homeless people around the city.
Kat very helpfully talked to the children about 'help the homeless' volunteering group and how they help these people in their own time.
