Year 5 Walking History

04 October 2019

Our term 1 enquiry is ‘Who is trading with Whom?’ and we are historians and geographers. On Wednesday YR5 went on a walk around our local area to find out what past it has. In the 1800`s it was full of fields, rivers and also a glass factory but its now gone but there is a building called Glass Wharf. In 1888 the Dings was here and is still here. Bristol was one of the main places to have a train station. Back in 1888 Barley fields was a boys and girls and they were separated and now today it is called Hannah More primary school.

We are looking forward to finding out more.
