Getting stuck into our class topic

26 April 2016

Have a read about the work we have done so far towards our topic outcome: "Can we create a mountainous habitat to help teach others?"

We have been busy getting stuck into our class topic. We have learnt about the three main types of mountains- Fold mountains, Fault Block mountains and Dome mountains. We learned how these were formed and where in the world you find moutains using an atlas. This week, we moved on to learn about volcanoes and how they are formed.

- What have you enjoyed learning about mountains?

- What surprised you about mountains and volcanoes?

- What would you like to learn more about?

Comment with your answer. Ask us a question and we will try and answer!

I like volcanoes and how they form and evaporate in the sky, I also like how the layers of molten was formed from hundreds/thousands of years.
