Wider Curriculum

P.E:

Art:

Shading

We would like you have a go at using shading to make things look 3D. Try following this video to start you off.

Geography:

During the half term you may have explored some (or all) of the 4 different cities we gave you activities for.

Tbilisi- Georgia is famous for having brilliant mountain ranges, popular with those who like to ski!

This week, we would like you to explore mountains more by understanding a little bit about how they are made and where more famous ones can be found. There are several activites below, try to do one a day.

Click here to watch a short clip which will tell you all about mountains then complete the quiz at the bottom of the page.

In your book (or on the sheet if you are able to print), write down the 6 famous mountain ranges and where they can be found.  Click here for some extra information and click here for the worksheet.

Watch this power point about the different types of mountains and how they are formed. In your book, copy and complete this grid to show what you know!

Have a go at drawing your own mounatin range. Can you label all the parts?
