We always try to support families in need. This January, Greggs charity are offering some hardship vouchers for food or clothing for Hannah More children. Please fill in this form or collect a form from the office.
Our Parents' Voice group has now reconvened after a long break. Here are notes from the meeting held in school and then on Zoom:
Bridging Gaps are a group of women from school from different backgrounds who are interested in sharing their culture and learning about other cultures. In the past thyey have run training to help people to be more culturally aware and more confident to speak to people from different backgrounds. An interesting report to Sport England about some ladies' fitness, netball and golf was produced in December 2020 - read this here.
Mums' fitness (in the sports hall) is on Monday mornings 9-10 and restarts on January 24th.
We are involved in a new community history project wiht the SS Great Britain, focusing on journeys and culture. See the newsletter or ask Ruth for more information. We also have a new family arts programme starting soon - this will be afterschool on Thursdays.
We can also refer families to Children in Need's Emergency Essentials programme. This provides items that meet children’s basic needs, such as a bed to sleep in, a cooker, clothing and other things that are essential to children’s wellbeing.
