Parents are involved in many ways at school. We regularly invite parents to special events, or to share our learning. We also run an extensive programme of classes and workshops for parents.
We invite parents into school to see teaching and learning in action, at our Open Mornings. Our next Open Morning is in June. More information and booking forms will be sent home the week before.
We know that open communication and consultation with parents is really important. Governors are keen to involve parents and carers in school developments and involve them in wider discussions. One way this happens is through our ‘Parents’ Voice’ meetings. These meetings provide an opportunity for parents to discuss current issues and raise any concerns.
We carried out a further Parents Survey in March 2019 and the results are here. We were pleased to discover that 87% of parents feel their childrne make good progress; this is up from 68% in September 2018.
