School is closed from Monday 23 March until further notice. Please read information about keeping safe and well here.
We have a 'Friends' group as well. Friends of Hannah More secures grant funding and charitable donations for the benefit of the school and its local community and works in partnership with community groups to run activities. Like the PTA, the Friends group aims to develop and support families, foster a sense of belonging and extend a welcome to everyone in the community. Their latest annual report can be read here.
There is an important meeting about behaviour on Monday 2 March form 9.00-100. Find out how we manage behaviour in school, how we support children who may find it difficult at times, how we manage playtimes - and how you can help at home.
We know that open communication and consultation with parents is really important. Governors are keen to involve parents and carers in school developments and involve them in wider discussions. One way this happens is through our ‘Parents’ Voice’ meetings. These meetings are advertised in the newsletter. They provide an opportunity for parents to discuss current issues and raise any concerns.
We carried out a Parents Survey in March 2019 and the results are here. We were pleased to discover that 87% of parents feel their children make good progress; this was up from 68% in September 2018.
