Mrs Wilkinson has written down what she found for each Material.

Can you write down what you found? Use your sounds to help you.

Task 3

Talk about each material and describe to your adult or brothers or sisters what they feel and look like.

Write a short sentence describing each material (wood, glass, metal, plastic).

Here is Mrs Wilkinson’s sentence: “Metal feels cold. It looks silver and shiny.”

This week we will practise reading some words using the sounds we know well and are confident with. Next week we will start practising our new year 1 sounds again.

Listen to this story.  It is all about a magic hat.  If you had a magic hat what would you like it to do?

Draw your hat and write a sentence about what magic it can do!
